Navratri Celebrations

The Staff Recreation Club of Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics, organized and celebrated Navratri with great enthusiasm over a span of nine days, starting from 3rd October to 11th October 2024. The objective of celebrating this festival was to honor the cultural significance of Navratri while fostering unity and enhancing staff engagement. Each day highlighted a different aspect of the festival, with faculty members participating enthusiastically in this vibrant celebration. A unique thematic approach was adopted, with participants dressing according to the day’s designated colour, creating a festive and joyful atmosphere.

The celebrations featured daily snacks and beverages in line with the colour theme, and photography sessions were held to capture the memorable moments at the quadrangle/college entrance.

This celebration was a great success and was enjoyed by both teaching and non-teaching staff members of the college. The entire event was meticulously coordinated by Asst. Prof. Lizette D’Costa and Asst. Prof. Pooja Shanbhag, faculty members in-charge of Recreation Club.
