The Department of Psychology and English of MES College, Zuarinagar, Goa organised a Workshop on Soft Skills & Personality Development on 16th February 2024. 04 students from FY B.Com, Fahadullah Javed, Melisha Baptista, Shaahid Almelkar, and Jaidenn Fernandes, participated in the Workshop.
The Resource Persons for the Workshop were Mr. Eshan Usapkar and Prof. Shalini Upadhyay. Prof. Shalini spoke about the importance of communication skills, overcoming the fear of communication, and positive self-talk, etc. She also gave tips on how to ace an interview and a group discussion, and to write a Resume.
Mr. Eshan Usapkar, the second Resource Person shared his journey of joining the army, facing challenges, and becoming an advocate. He spoke about the importance of not giving up on our dreams, daring to do what we love, and developing our soft skills.
The students appreciated both sessions and felt more confident and motivated to communicate effectively and pursue their goals.
