The Department of Management Studies in collaboration with the Career Cell organised a workshop on Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test on 14th February 2024. The event aimed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills required to excel in the entrance test for the Company Secretary Executive program. The Resource Person for the workshop was Mr. Dharmaraj J. Bhonsle, a distinguished professional and Ex-Chairman of the Goa Chapter of WIRC-ICSI.
A welcome address and introduction of the Resource Person was provided by a student, Mr. Devraj Chaudhary. The workshop began with an insightful analysis by Mr. Dharmaraj J. Bhonsle of the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test, covering its structure, marking scheme, and key areas of focus. This allowed students to gain a comprehensive understanding of what to expect in the examination. A significant portion of the workshop was dedicated to enlightening students about the Company Secretary profession. Mr. Bhonsle shared his rich industry experience, shedding light on the role and responsibilities of a Company Secretary, thus motivating aspirants to pursue this career path.
A highly interactive Q&A session was conducted, allowing students to clarify doubts and seek advice on specific challenges. This segment facilitated personalized guidance, making the workshop more beneficial for each participant. Mr. Sami Shaikh, a student, expressed gratitude to Mr. Bhonsle for his time, expertise, and commitment to fostering the professional growth of aspiring Company Secretaries. 51 students attended the session.
