The TechTrendz Club of the Department of Computer Science organized “Brainiac Battle”- Fastest Word Search Competition, for the students of BCA and BVoc.(ST) programmes on February 10, 2024, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in Classroom S203. 24 students participated in the event.
The participants had to complete the puzzle by searching all the listed words in a grid of letters within limited time. The benefits of the Word Search competition range from improving spelling and vocabulary to reducing stress and improving context clue fluency. The winners of the Brainiac Battle” Fastest word search Competition” were as follows:
1st Place: Aldrid Alex Fernandes (SY BCA – B)
2nd Place: Analey Afonso (SY BCA – B)
3rd Place: Ashley Colaco (SY BCA – B)
Ms. Shaikh Thuba (SY BCA- B), Ms. Fateema Khan (SY BCA- B), Ms. Aifa Shaikh (SY BCA- B) and Mr. Tanish Ghag (TY B.Voc.(ST)) organized the event. Ms. Sheetal Sharma (SY BCA- B) served as the student coordinator for the event. Ms. Vidya N, Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Ms. Yugandhara Joshi, Assistant Professor in Mathematics, were the teachers in charge of the competition.
