The BBA Department of MES College of Arts & Commerce, Zuarinagar, hosted a state-level management event titled Lakshya 17.0 at MES College campus on 10th February 2024. The event’s theme was “Unlock the chamber of corporate secrets”. 4 students from FY BBA and 1 student from SY BBA competed in the following rounds:
- Hufflepuff (Human Resource round)- Naychell Miranda
- Gryfindor (Finance round)- Divyanshi Vala
- Ravenclaw (Marketing round)- Sydon Gracias
- Slytherin (Entrepreneur round)- Warren Fernandes
- Steedhoof (Best Manager round)- Cybern Fernandes, and
- Labyrinth (team round)-entire team.
Each round had a pre-round. The event began with the inaugural function at 9.30 a.m., followed by individual rounds. The team won first place in the Human Resource round, Marketing round and Entrepreneurship round. The team were crowned as overall runners-up for Lakshya 17.0. The winners of the event were S.S. Dempo College of Commerce & Economics. Lakshya 17.0 concluded with a valedictory function and prize distribution at 9:30 p.m. The students had excellent exposure and a valuable learning experience. Assistant Professor Omkar Pawaskar was in charge of the team participating in the event.
