The Department of Computer Science organized a session with Codemax IT Solutions, an MOU partner, on 31st January 2024, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for the FY, SY, and TY BCA, B.Voc.(ST) students. The Resource Persons for the session on Evolution of Quality Assurance was Ms. Blanca Rebello and on the Transformative Role of Automation in HR Processes was Ms. Ishrat Shaikh.
The welcome address was delivered by a student from FY BCA, Anushree Shirodkar. Following this, Vice Principal Edwin Barreto extended a warm welcome to our distinguished Resource Persons.
Ms. Blanca explained to the students the role of Quality Assurance in a team, the various QA techniques used in industry and mentioned that today’s IT world requires a different approach to Quality Assurance. Ms. Ishrat discussed with students the various roles HR plays in a company and then added a transformation role to HR’s process of automating the team. A Codemax example was given to demonstrate how they achieve result-oriented output in a short period of time.
Towards the end of the session, an interactive Q&A session took place, allowing students to pose their queries and seek clarification about the IT industry. Student Astha Tiwari from FY BCA delivered the Vote of Thanks. This session proved beneficial to 62 students and 2 faculty members who attended. Overall, the session was informative, engaging, and succeeded in enhancing students’ understanding of the subject matter.
