The Department of Management Studies organized a study tour to Hyderabad from 20th to 24th October 2023. The journey to Hyderabad commenced on October 20th, 2023, with a train ride from Margao. After an exhilarating 20-hour train journey, the group arrived at their destination, Kachegud, Hyderabad.
During the tour, the group visited following local sightseeing places
- Golconda Fort: A historic citadel originally known as Mankal, it was built on a hilltop in 1143. Climbing over 300 steps in the hot weather provided a memorable experience.
- NTR Garden: The picturesque garden offered opportunities for photos and making memories, despite the humid Hyderabad weather.
- Lumbini Park: The day concluded with a mesmerizing laser show at Lumbini Park.
- Ramoji Film City. This destination provided an inside look into the world of film and adventure, with live performances and a behind-the-scenes view of filmmaking.
- Charminar: This iconic monument stands in the heart of a bustling market area. Climbing to the top provided a panoramic view of the city.
- The Chowmahalla Palace: The palace’s architectural grandeur left a lasting impression, featuring lush gardens and splendid fountains. Its name, “Chowmahalla,” translates to “Four Palaces.”
- The IMAX Prasad Multiplex
The group also visited Indian School of Business (ISB) where an interactive session with Mr. Kaushik Rai provided insights into the institution’s transformative impact on students’ lives and its course structure.
The tour to Hyderabad was a resounding success, providing students with enriching experiences, cultural insights, and unforgettable moments. 20 BBA/BBA(FS) students along with 2 faculty members Mr. Omkar Pawaskar and Ms. Snigdha Naik were a part of this tour.
