The Department of Management Studies organized ‘Fiesta de Comida’ i.e Pop-Up Bazaar on 30th September 2023 and 11th October 2023 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. The stalls were set up on the Ground Floor near the Counselor’s Cabin.
The students of FY BBA(FS) B formed 7 groups, each group consisting of 5 to 6 members. On 30th September 2023, a total of four groups set up their stalls, while the remaining three groups had their stalls set up on 11th October 2023. The pop-up bazaar featured a diverse array of stalls offering a range of delicious snacks, delectable home-made sweets and desserts along with a variety of cooling drinks.
The students actively planned and participated in the event and were able to effectively apply the management functions of planning, organising, staffing, directing and controlling. The students also learnt how to work in a team and coordinate with group members. At the same time, students gained knowledge in pricing and marketing their products. The teacher in-charge of the event was Ms. Alba De Sa. 39 students participated in this event.
