The Department of Computer Science successfully organized the TECH-TANK event on 16th September 2023, from 9:00 am to 1:45 pm. The primary objective of this event was to provide a platform for TY BCA students to showcase their innovative project ideas and receive constructive feedback from experienced professionals in the field. The esteemed industry mentors who formed the expert panel for this presentation were:

Ms. Sharmila Kunde, Academician
Mr. Mohsin Shaikh, CEO & Co-founder, Haztech Innovation
Mr. Chetan Rane, Project Lead, Isprava Hospitality Pvt. Ltd.
During this Academic year, five live projects are being undertaken by students, which were provided by VVM. Among these, two projects will be mentored by Mr. Suhas Mallya, one each by Ms. Sharmila Kunde and Ms. Ekta Agarwal.
The presentation session commenced with a brief introduction of all the industry mentors by Ms. Shruti Kunkolienkar. Each of the 12 project groups had the opportunity to present their projects in front of these industry experts. The experts, in turn, provided valuable feedback on various aspects of the projects, including the technologies to be employed and the feasibility of completing the projects within the given deadlines. Faculty members from the Computer Science Department were also present, offering their insights and guidance to the project groups.
Council Chairperson, Ms. Ekta Agarwal, praised the quality of the projects for the Academic year. She suggested organizing interactive sessions in specific fields such as Gaming and Virtual/Augmented Reality for project groups working in these domains. Additionally, she emphasized the importance of communicating the project status to the respective industry mentors who are guiding the projects
At the end, the Vote of Thanks was proposed by Ms. Shruti Kunkolienkar.
Key Outcomes of the Activity:
- Mohsin Shaikh expressed his willingness to mentor two TY BCA projects.
- Chetan Rane showed interest in conducting a session on Project Planning and Scheduling.
Ms. Ekta Agarwal agreed to conduct a session for all TY BCA students on Live Projects and the benefits of choosing them.
