The Department of Computer Science organized a Digital Poster Making Competition: Creative design for promoting millets, on 15th September 2023. 16 students participated in the competition, forming 8 teams. The posters were judged by Mr. Sandesh Gaundalkar and Ms. Girija Gaonkar based on creativity, relevance to the topic and originality. The result of the competition was declared on 25th September 2023. The event in-charge was Ms. Rakshavi Dessai and the faculty in-charges were Ms. Sweta Verenkar, Ms. Annette Santimano and Mr. Ramkrishna Reddy.
Ms. Thayaba Banu and Ms. Sumaira Mustafa Mulla, students from FY BCA B, served as the Student Coordinators. Their efficient coordination ensured smooth communication between the participants and the organizing team, contributing to the overall success of the event.
The event aimed to encourage creative thinking and raise awareness about the nutritional and ecological benefits of millets.
Ms. Shrawya Shetty and Ms. Apsara Ghorasaini – SY BCA B won the first place. Ms. Shital Sharma and Ms. Riya Faleiro – SY BCA-B won the second place and Mr. Showil Rebello and Mr. Yogesh Yadav – FY B.VOC.(ST) won the third place.
