The Cultural Council in association with the Green Club organized an ‘Eco-Friendly Makhar-Making Competition’ on 12th September, 2023 in the College Quadrangle. With the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on the horizon, this initiative aimed to raise awareness about crafting eco-friendly Ganesh makhars and celebrating this revered festival in an environmentally responsible manner.
The event garnered immense enthusiasm, with a total of 10 entries pouring in from students across all programmes. The students were encouraged to participate in groups ranging from a minimum of two to a maximum of five members. Our talented students wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to showcase their creative prowess through the art of Makhar making.
