Nau Sainik Camp Phase -I

6 Kar Naval Unit NCC organized the Nau Sainik Camp Phase-I in Udupi from September 3rd to 12th, 2023. The primary objective of this camp was to provide cadets with firsthand experience of Naval life.

The camp proved to be a memorable and enriching experience, filled with adventures and valuable lessons. Cadets had the opportunity to learn various skills, including Semaphore, Boat rigging, boat pulling, and health and hygiene practices. Each day of the camp commenced at 6:00 AM with exercises and the hoisting of colors, concluding at 10:30 PM. At the end of the camp, both theoretical and practical exams were conducted to assess the cadets’ knowledge and skills.

The cadets thoroughly enjoyed their time at the camp, creating lasting memories. The final day was marked by joyous celebrations, including cultural programs. The camp concluded with a cultural program that brought everyone together.

Our institution was represented by three NCC Naval wing cadets: PO Shudeepa Oli, LC Melissa Solomon, and Cadet Priyanka Chowdhary. Additionally, 19 cadets from Goa participated in the camp. In total, the camp hosted 200 cadets from the Karnataka and Goa Directorate. Notably, PO cadet Shudeepa Oli and LC Melissa Solomon were selected to attend Nau Sainik Camp Phase-II, marking their outstanding performance and dedication.
