The Postgraduate Department of Commerce organized a farewell ceremony on April 19th, 2023, to bid farewell to the M.Com-II and PGDFT students. The ceremony began with a warm welcome address by the College Principal, Dr. Prita D. Mallya, who highlighted the challenges that the students may face in their future careers and encouraged them to be prepared for the same. The Programme Coordinator, Miss Twinkle Fernandes, also gave an emotional address bidding farewell to the outgoing students.
After the speeches, the M.Com-I students presented a beautiful prayer song. The juniors had prepared a range of performances for the outgoing students, including singing and dancing acts, role plays, enjoyable games with spot prizes, Housie, Pass the Ring, and more. Following the performances, video snippets of experiences captured by M.Com-II and PGDFT students were shown to the audience. To add to the fun, Mr. Frazer from M.Com-I gave a unique performance, which was appreciated by everyone.
The farewell ceremony ended on a high note with a cake-cutting ceremony. All the students received a memento to cherish the event, and the program came to an end with a special performance by M.Com-II students. As a token of appreciation, the M.Com-II students also gave out bookmarks to their juniors. The event concluded at 3:30 pm, leaving behind fond memories of the celebrations.
