The TechTrendz club of the Department of Computer Science organized the Prize distribution function on 4th April 2023, for all the activities held under the club during the Academic year 2022-23. The function was compered by Ms. Duena Cabral from TY BCA-A. The TechTrendz report was read by Mr. Malik Rehan from SY B.Voc(ST).
Dr. Edwin Barreto, Vice Principal of the College commended the students for their accomplishments and motivated them to continue participating in such activities. During the event, a video message from the Principal, Prof. Prita D. Mallya, was played, which congratulated the winners and encouraged students to participate in more activities. The video also showcased the various activities conducted by the TechTrendz club throughout the academic year.
Vice Principal Dr. Edwin Barreto, Dr. Rodney D’Silva, Associate Professor, Department of Commerce & Management, Dr. Lira Gama, HOD, Economics & Banking, Ms. Sharmila Kunde, Associate Professor in Information Technology, Mr. Sumit Kumar, HOD, Computer Science and Ms. Twinkle Fernandes, M.Com Programme Coordinator presented the trophies and certificates to the competition winners. The faculty event coordinators distributed certificates to the student organizers, and all participants received E-certificates.
The Club successfully organized twelve activities during the Academic year, in which students from BCA, B.Voc(ST), and B.Com participated. Mr. Darren Dias from TY BCA-A was announced as the Tech Wizard for the Academic year 2022-2023. The Best Tech Performers from each class for this year were issued certificates and trophies. The students were guided by Ms. Rajlaxmi S. Nair, TechTrendz Coordinator. Mr. Sumit Kumar, Head, Dept. of Computer Science, and Mr. Andre Pacheco, Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department provided the necessary assistance for the event.
