Empowering Women Entrepreneurs with insights on Union Budget

The Department of Management and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with Aamhi Udyogini Pratishthan, organized an insightful session for women entrepreneurs on the Union Budget at the Mahila Mandal Office in Comba. A total of 23 women members and 15 BBA and BBA(FS) students attended this session. The session was conducted by renowned Chartered Accountant, Vaibhav Pai Fondekar.

The primary aim of the session was to provide women entrepreneurs with the necessary knowledge and understanding of the recent updates in the Union Budget, and how these updates may impact their businesses. The attendees showed great interest and enthusiasm to learn from the expert speaker, Vaibhav Pai Fondekar.

During the session, CA. Pai Fondekar provided the attendees with valuable insights on the Union Budget that were particularly relevant to entrepreneurs. He focused on various schemes and initiatives that the government had announced to support startups and small businesses, including the Startup India Seed Fund, MUDRA Yojana, and Stand-Up India. He also discussed the Government’s focus on digitalization and how it has impacted the business ecosystem.

The attendees posed several questions related to taxation, government schemes, and business development. Mr. Fondekar answered all the questions patiently. It was a good learning experience for the students and women entrepreneurs who attended the session.

The women entrepreneurs expressed their gratitude for the informative session, which equipped them with the knowledge and resources needed to enhance their businesses. The faculty in charge of the same was Assistant Prof. Anirudha Munj.
