The Department of Management Studies encouraged the SY BBA(Financial Services) students to pursue online certificate courses titled ‘Projects Cost Management, Estimating, Budgeting and Control’ and ‘Corporate Debt Restructuring and Bankruptcy’ as a part of their Internal assessment in the courses of Cost & Management Accounting and Corporate Restructuring respectively. Students were given a time span from 09-01-2023 to 09-03-2023 to complete the certificate course.
The online certificate course comprising on-demand video lectures was offered by Udemy – a global leader in virtual education, boasting more than 54 million students, 204,000 courses, and 71,000 instructors teaching courses in over 75 languages as of July 2022. The online certificate course was also offered by reputed corporations like NASDAQ, Volkswagen, etc., to their employees.
All the students received their e-certificates from Udemy on their registered e-mail IDs. Ms. Abigale Rodrigues and Mr. Mayuresh Adsul, Assistant Professors in Commerce, Department of Management were the in-charge faculty for the same.
81 students completed the course in Projects Cost Management, Estimating, Budgeting, and Control and 78 students completed the course in Corporate Debt Restructuring and Bankruptcy.
