A Workshop on Introduction to Blogging and Vlogging was organized by the Department of English and Communication on 13th March 2023 for F.Y.B.Com students. The Resource Person for the session was Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy, a faculty member of Dept. of Computer Science and also a professional Blogger. The session was hands-on so as to highlight the practical aspects of blogging. Ms. Nandita Borkar, F.Y. student, introduced the Resource Person. 182 students attended the workshop.
The Resource Person introduced various aspects of Blogging and Vlogging and shared the list of various platforms available for the same. He suggested tips for finding the correct word in the Google search engine, so that students can write good articles for their blogs. He guided the students with creating a blog, content creation and blog promotion. Analytics and Measurements of Blog performance and monetization models were also explained in a very comprehensive manner. He complemented his explanation by demonstrating his own blog and the blog posts. The students showed great enthusiasm and interacted with the Resource person. Ms. Samiksha Vengurlekar, Assistant Professor, Dept. of English and Communication proposed the Vote of Thanks.
