The Future Skills Group of TechTrendz Club of the Department of Computer Science organized Tech Trivia – a technical quiz competition, for its BCA and B.Voc.(ST) students on 11th March. The members of the organizing team were Mr. Prithvi Shirodkar and Mr. Suyash Naik from TY BCA-B.
This competition was based on the areas of IT, tech and computers. There were three rounds in this competition. Round 1 was based on multiple-choice questions with a time frame of eight minutes. In Round 2, the participants had to identify the given picture and name it within a time limit of 10 minutes. In Round 3, the participants had to unscramble the given set of words within a time frame of 15 minutes. 17 students from BCA and B.Voc(ST) programmes participated. Mr. Darren Dias, from TY BCA-A won the first place and Mr. Delroy Pires, from FY BCA-A and Mr. Dylan Frias, from FY BCA-A shared the second place.
The brochure for the event was designed by Mr. Prithvi Shirodkar from TY BCA-B. The students of the organizing team were guided by Mr. Andre Pacheco, the Event Coordinator and Ms. Rajlaxmi S. Nair, the TechTrendz Coordinator.
