NCC Army Wing CDT Sumayya Ramdurg of VVM`s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics received prestigious ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chair’ Award of Excellence in recognition of the exemplary work done as an NCC Cadet at a function organised by Goa University, Manohar Parrikar School of Law, Governance, and public policy on 15th February, 2023 at New Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan at the hands of Prof. Shrikant Paranjpe.
CDT Sumayya Ramdurg has been awarded for her outstanding deeds in the field of training and contribution in cultural activities conducted by 1 Goa BN NCC Panaji Goa. She bagged this award among Senior Wing category as Best Cadet of 1 Goa BN NCC Panaji Unit. Her journey from the College campus to the Pre – RDC parade was highly enriching with the support and guidance of the Principal Prof. Prita Mallya, Vice Principal Dr. Edwin Barreto and NCC Officer Lt. Sandesh Gaonkar.
