On October 21, 2022, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the College organised a handholding session as part of the Mentor-Mentee Programme to help Swami Vivekananda College prepare for its 1st cycle of NAAC accreditation. 18 staff members from Swami Vivekananda College participated.
The Program started at 1:00 pm with welcome address by Principal, Prof. Prita Mallya. She welcomed the faculty members of Swami Vivekananda College and assured all possible support from VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics for their 1st cycle of NAAC Accreditation. Dr. (CA) Subrahmanya Bhat, Principal of Swami Vivekananda College expressed his gratitude for arranging mentor mentee session and assisting them in the process of NAAC accreditation.
Dr. Shami Pai, Event Coordinator provided an overview of the programme. She explained the NAAC portal to the participating faculty members. The participants were then split into criteria-wise teams to interact with the IQAC members (criteria in-charge) of Shree Damodar College. The criteria in-charges of both Colleges discussed on metric-wise data collection and documentation as per the new NAAC manual.
Dr. Lina Sadekar, IQAC Coordinator proposed the Vote of Thanks. The session ended at 3:30. The Programme was compered by Dr. Sheetal Arondekar.
