The Multimedia Group of TechTrendz Club of the Department of Computer Science organized BGM Masters – a music track making competition for its BCA and B.Voc.(ST) students. The competition was released on Saturday, 8th October 2022 and was kept open till 13th October 2022. The members of the organising team were Mr. Sidhivinayak Hadapad and Mr. Pratham Shetkar, of SY BCA-A and Mr. Shubh Borkar of FY BCA-A.
This competition was held to showcase the participants talent of making background music tracks of a maximum of 3 minutes with no use of vocals. The participants were informed not to use copyrighted music. The participants had to submit their response via Google form link. The judging criteria were originality, quality and tempo. The judge for this event was Mr. Andre Pacheco, Assistant Profession in the Department of Computer Science. A total of 4 students participated and enjoyed the competition. The winner of the BGM Master was Mr. Shawn Baretto from TY BCA-A.
The brochure for this event was designed by Mr. Sidhivinayak Hadapad and Mr. Pratham Shetkar, SY BCA-A. Mr. Shubh Borkar, FY BCA-A, designed the Google form and made the collage. The students of the organising team were guided by Ms. Rama Borkar and Ms. Rajlaxmi S. Nair. Mr. Sumit Kumar gave valuable suggestions for the event.
