The NSS Unit in association with NCC Army/ Navy, Vasundhara (Green Club) and the Yuva Tourism Club organised a Monsoon Hike on 04th October, 2022 at Kuskem, Khotigao – Canacona – Goa. 245 students from all the programmes participated in the hike. 16 teachers accompanied the students for the same.
The hikers left the College campus at 8:45am and reached the destination at 11:15am. The hikers were well equipped to complete a difficult yet an adventurous trek. Students began their walk from the Kuskem Village to the waterfall. The time taken to compete the trek was 1 hour 15 minutes. Along the way students enjoyed the lush green forest, the clear stream of water and the time spent in the close proximity of Nature. At 2:00 pm the students started walking their way back to the village. After enjoying a meal together at the Khotigao Wildlife Sanctuary and playing fun filled games, the hikers left the place and reached the College campus at 7:00 pm.
Students truly enjoyed the activity and provided positive feedback regarding the organization of the monsoon hike.
