The Department of Computer Science organized a seminar on “Introduction to Cloud Computing” on 1st October 2022 in classroom 214. The speaker for the seminar was Mr. Mayur Virkar, Founder and CEO of CodeMax IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. 65 students and 6 Faculty attended the seminar.
The seminar started at 11.30am with a welcome address from Mr. Andre Pacheco. Mr. Virkar then addressed the students and gave them a brief overview of his company and how the session would be conducted. The seminar started with a short lecture followed up by group activities. Students were arranged in groups and were given certain tasks. Mr Virkar then helped the students understand the nature of cloud computing through these activities. The basics of cloud and its real-world applications were discussed.
The seminar ended with a Vote of Thanks proposed by the Head of the Department, Mr. Sumit Kumar. The event was a great success and all the participants appreciated it.Mr. Andre Pacheco and Mr. Sameer Patil were the coordinators of the seminar.
