The SC/ST Cell of the College conducted an orientation session as part of the Deeksharambh initiative, for the First-Year students of the College, on 08th and 11th August 2022 from 09:00 am onwards. A total of 89 participants attended the session.
Mr. Sanjay Velip, Convenor of the SC/ST Cell welcomed the gathering and proceeded with the orientation session. He explained to the students in detail the purpose of the orientation programme and also the aim of SC/ST Cell. He briefed the participants about the various activities planned by SC/ST Cell for the Academic Year 2022-23 and encouraged students to participate in the same.
Mr. Sanjay Velip also informed students about various schemes and scholarships available for SC/ST students. He also mentioned the requirements to avail the benefits of various governmental schemes. The programme ended with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Manasi D. Rege.
