Career Counselling Program in Chartered Accountancy

The Department of Commerce and Management and Career Cell of the College in collaboration with WIRC of ICAI, Goa Branch organized a Career Counselling Program on Chartered Accountancy for the students of all programmes on 2nd August from 12.00 noon to 1.00 p.m. Resource Person for the session was CA. Sneha Menon.  Prof. Prita Mallya, Principal of the College gave the welcome address. CA. Vinayak Dhumatkar introduced the Resource Person for the session.

  1. CA.Sneha Menon commenced the session by reciting the motto of ICAI. She showed the students an animated video on importance of Chartered Accountancy. CA.Menon interacted with the students and discussed about their career goals. She informed the students about the wide scope of career opportunities in this area. She took the students through her own journey towards becoming a Chartered Accountant and expressed the essence of hard work and dedication in order to achieve the goals.   2. CA.Sneha Menonaddressed the queries of the students and concluded the session. Shami Pai, Head of Department of Commerce and Management proposed the Vote of Thanks for the session. Assistant Professors in Commerce Mr. Gajanan Haldankar, Mr. Ainsley Bernard, Ms. Sushrusha Naik Khandekar and Ms. Abigale Rodrigues were part of the organizing committee. A total of 140 students from all Programmes attended the session.
