VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics, Margao organized Faculty Development Program on “Modern Web Frameworks” for the Computer Science faculty of Vidya Vikas Academy, RMS Higher Secondary and Shree Damodar College in order to gain a deeper understanding of modern web frameworks used in the industry. The FDP program was conducted over 3 days – 4th, 11th and 20th June 2022 respectively.
The Resource Person for the FDP was Mr Niloday Thamankar (CEO of Compdhenu Software Solution LLP) & Mr Ramanath Pai (Partner at Compdhenu Software Solution LLP).

Asst. Professor Ms Rajlaxmi Nair from the Department of Computer Science welcomed the gathering and introduced the Resource Person. Mr. Niloday Tamhankar explained about web frameworks with .NET platforms. The participants were given real-life examples by Mr. Ramnath Pai and an explanation of the working style used in the industry. He later explained the MVC architecture and working of it.

In this session, the Resource Person explained to the participants how websites can be developed using Node js, from scratch. Later Mr. Pai demonstrated a few applications developed using Nodejs.

During his final remarks, Mr. Niloday has explored the live website and explained the advantages of using Angular JS on a enterprise website.
Participants gained an understanding of the basics of modern web frameworks. FDP Coordinator Ms. Sharmila Kunde, Associate Professor from Department of I.T proposed the Vote of Thanks. Mr Sameer Patil, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science assisted in organizing the 3 day programme.
