The Recreation Cell held the ‘Know Your Colleagues’ and Diwali Celebration on 29thOctober 2021 in G.D. Auditorium for Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Voc and M.Com Programmes. All staff members participated in the same with joy and cheer.
The program commenced with the Principal Prof. Prita D. Mallya addressing the gathering. This was followed by a melodious song ‘Aali Diwali’ performed by Ms. Rama Borkar accompanied by the team Ms. Nishigandha Naik Gaonkar, Sneha Prabhudesai and Ms. Sonali Karapurkar. Ms. Yugandhara Joshi delivered a speech on Diwali in which she highlighted the importance of the festival along with the details of the Diwali Celebration in India. A short quiz based on Diwali theme was conducted. Staff members won the prizes for correct answers. This was followed by the games which included one individual game and two group games. Staff Members were divided into five teams. Prizes were distributed at the end of the session. Assistant Professor Ms. Poorva Gude was the compere for the function. This function gave an opportunity to all staff members to interact with each other and get to know each other better. The celebration came to an end with lots of joy and happiness. Refreshments were provided at the end of the function.
