The Department of Computer Science organized a Webinar on Job opportunities in IT and IT Companies in Goa on 16th October 2021 from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm via Google Meet. The Resource Person for the session was Shri Milind Anvekar (President of Goa Technology Association (GTA) and Vice President of Open Destination Miramar Goa). The webinar was attended by Computer Science Teachers and BCA, B.Voc.(ST) Students
The session started with the introduction of the Resource Person by Mr. Sumit Kumar. Vice Principal Dr Rodney D’Silva addressed the participants. Ms Rama Borkar compered the session.
Shri Milind Anvekar started his session by asking few questions to students followed by a discussion on IT scenario in Goa and the job opportunities available for students in IT. In his presentation, he explored various IT companies available and how they work around to serve their clients. He advised the students to join as interns to get the best experience. He spoke about feature technologies and how students should be focused on such areas. Lastly he answered all the queries raised by the students.
The entire session was meticulously planned and presented. It was of great help to the students. The webinar concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Mr. Sameer Patil. 80 participants benefited from the webinar.
