The BBA(FS) Department conducted an orientation program for First Year students of Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Services) on 14th October,2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. via Google Meet Platform.
The Program Coordinator, Ms. Cinola Vaz welcomed the students and briefed them about BBA(FS) Program and also introduced all the faculty members. She introduced the students to the campus management software ‘Fedena’ and the College library.
Ms. Snehal explained the conduct of examination and mode of assessment in each course and also emphasized on completing of all internal components for qualifying for end semester examination. Mr. Mayuresh Adsul informed the students about various certificate courses, extension and outreach activities conducted by the Department. Ms. Swati Bhat informed the students about the Internship and also the projects to be done.
Ms. Grishmi Thakur informed the students about the participation at various National and State level events, Scholarships and Placement. Ms. Racheal Goes told the students about the Student Welfare cell of the College i.e. Mentoring, remedial, attendance, Life skills certificate course and MOOCs courses. Ms. Trisha Vadil enlightened the students about the field trips and industry visits, Investor Hub activities and also mentioned about Finance Student of the Year title awarded every year.
Lastly students were given a demonstration on the Fedena Software by Ms. Mervia. The Program ended at 12:30 p.m.
