International Day of Non-violence

In commemoration of the ‘International Day of Non-violence’, Goa University and its affiliated Colleges organized week-long celebrations to spread the message of non-violence. Accordingly, various programmes were held in the College from 29th Sept to 4th Oct 2021

Online Quiz on Life of Mahatma Gandhi organized by NSS Unit -1st to 7th October 228 students participated in the quiz.

Value education cell organized Slogan writing competition on the Theme “Unity in Diversity”- 1st to 4th October. Slogans were then used to create awareness on social media. 9students participated in the activity.

Value education cell organized Essay writing competition on the Theme “Youth Empowerment” – 2nd to 5th October. 11students participated in the activity.

Khadi Day Celebration- 4th October

Staff members were encouraged to wear Khadi on the day. The Principal, Vice-Principal along with the other staff members paid their respects to Mahatma Gandhi. Teaching and Non-teaching staff of the College took the Pledge of Nonviolence. 66 teaching staff and 29 Non-Teaching staff participated in the activity.

Pledge of non-violence – 4th to 7th October– Pledge of non-violence was administered during online as well as physical classes. 237 students took the pledge.

Activities were Coordinated by Ms Sharmila Kunde (NSS Chief PO) and Ms Marjina Shaikh (Convenor, Value Education Cell).
