On 8th February 2016, V.V.M’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics, Margao Goa participated in the Students’ Parliament Competition organized by Goa Legislature Secretariat in Co-ordination with Goa Legislature Forum and Directorate of Higher Education at Goa Assembly premises, Porvorim Goa . The College team consisted of 30 students from across all the streams.
The topics taken up by the students for the competition were prevention of cutting of coconut trees, financial aid for self-financed programmes, mobile fish vans, cleaning of coastal beaches and other relevant topics.
