The Readers’ Club in association with the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Club jointly organized “Peherav Hindustani”, online fashion show competition on Indian Culture to commemorate INDIA@75 ‘Aazadika Amrit Mahotsav’ for the students of our college and it was also open for the general public. The competition commenced on 15th August and continued till 16th September 2021.
The competition was conducted in two categories as follows:
Category 1 for age group 12 to 17 and
Category 2 for age group 18 to 25
Total 6 entries were received, i.e. four entries under category 1 and two under category 2 – across Goa. Participants had to record a video of themselves performing the ramp walk and also giving the significance of their costumes. They were asked to send the videos on an email Id created for the event, along with all the necessary details. Dr. Maithili Naik and Ms. Amba Prabhu were the judges of the competition.
The winners are as follows:
Category 1: Ms. Siddhi Shirodkar, Vidya Prabodhini College, Porvorim
Category 2: Ms. Dimple Tavde, VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics.
