BBA (FS) department of V.V.M’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics, Comba Margao Goa organized a one day state level intercollegiate competitions for Higher Secondary Schools and Colleges on 29th November 2014.
The idea behind organizing such an event was to give a platform for students to exchange their ideas on finance and to provide knowledge on various financial aspects in more fun and creative way.
The Chief Guest for the inaugural function was Mr. Arjun Rebello, Partner at Milestone Financial Consultants followed by a technical session which was delivered by Mr. Marlon Correia, Asst. Manager of NSDL Ltd, Mumbai.
Competitions like Bizzquizitive, Bizzwings, Adquotient, Jagruti, Fin Art, were organized for Higher Secondary Schools students and competitions like Chanakya Niti, Sangram Bhumi, Bizzwings, Adquotient, Jagruti were organized for Under Graduate students.
Mr. Ganesh from Abhiganesh Consultancy was invited as a Chief Guest for the valedictory function.
Among the Higher Secondary Schools Ramakrishna Mahadev Salgaocar Higher Secondary, Margao Goa begged the first place and the runners ups were Damodar Higher Secondary School Gudi Paroda Goa .
Among the colleges that participated, Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim Goa lifted the trophy and Don Bosco, Panaji Goa were announced as the runners up.
