The BBA(Financial Services) Department organized a “Mock Stock Wizard” Competition under the Investors’ Hub on 08th May 2021 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through Google Meet.
“Mock Stock Wizard” is a mock stock trading competition in which the participants traded on a virtual platform with virtual currency, but with real stocks and live price movements. The competition was designed to ensure that students learn the art of trading and to check their fundamentals regarding capital markets.
Participants were instructed to construct a virtual portfolio from May 10-14 using “MoneyBhai” website. The participant with the highest portfolio value at the end was declared the winner. Eleven students participated in the competition. Mr. Shawn Menezes, TYBBA(FS)-A and Mr. Mohav Shet Kurtarkar, TYBBA(FS)-B won the first and second place respectively.
