The Department of Computer Science organized a session on Basics of Cloud Computing and Virtualization for the Computer Science faculty on 05th March from 12.30 pm to 02.00 pm at the Skill Development Centre in the Annexe Building.
The objective of the session was to understand the basics of Cloud Computing and Virtualization. The Resource Person for the session was Mr. Rajeev Vasudevan, Director of IT infrastructure of a well-known MNC.
During the sessions, basic concepts of Cloud Computing and Virtualization were explained. He listed the job opportunities available in these areas along with the required skills and certifications. He pointed out that if the College is planning to offer these courses at TYBCA, then the fundamentals should be taught from First Year onwards.
All the doubts and queries raised by the participants were clarified. The session was informative, resourceful and well received by the participants. 8 faculty members participated in the session.
