The Postgraduate Department organized its second session on Industry Interact Program: IIP-Lecture Series II on 20th February 2021 from 10.00 am to 11.30 pm via Google Meet platform. The main objective of this program was to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
The Resource Person for the Program was Ms. Meghvi Pangam, Engagement Financial Analyst, Deloitte US India and a proud alumnus of the College. Ms. Seema Dharani, Asst. Professor PG Dept and coordinator for the session, gave a brief overview of the program and its relevance to the students. Ms. Namrata Rinwa, student of M.Com Part I introduced the Resource Person.
Ms. Pangam started her session by giving an insight into the corporate world. She shared her professional experience with the different companies she has worked with.
She emphasized on the importance of participating in various college activities and inter-collegiate events so that students get exposure of different roles and master various interpersonal skills, which will help them in being placed with reputed institutions.
Ms. Pangam discussed her role as a Financial Analyst and a Market Researcher. She spoke about ERP, MIS, and profitability analysis and discussed various real-life cases giving relevant examples. 45 participants attended the program
The speaker addressed all the questions raised by the students. The program ended at 11.30 am. Mr. Anmol Shetti, M.Com Part I proposed the Vote of Thanks.
