The Department of Computer Science conducted an Industry Interaction Session (Webinar) in the subject ‘Computer Organization and Architecture’, on December 16, 2020, between 10:00 – 11:00 am for the students of FYBCA through the Google Meet platform. The Resource Person for the event was Mr Ketan Naik, Project Head, Asier Solutions (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. The topic of the session was ‘An Insight into Arduino’
Asier is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) based Ed-TECH company which aims to foster innovations through technology and focusing on the same, the company imparts practical knowledge through their first commercialized educational DIY- Kits “ROBOKITS” through various workshops and trainings. Mr Ketan works for Asier Solutions and has hands-on experience in several IOT and Arduino projects. The session began with Mr Ketan explaining the various components of the Arduino Board. He also familiarised the students with the programming IDE for Arduino before starting with live demonstrations. Mr Ketan provided the students with live demonstrations with regard to a home lighting project. Towards the end he engaged the students in an interactive session wherein students got an opportunity to clear their queries regarding study material available to develop their knowledge further in this technology.
