The Department of Economics & Banking organized a guest lecture on “Business Process” in the subject of Microeconomics on December 15, 2020 from 12.00 to 1.00 p.m. through Google Meet. The resource person for the session was Mr. Suresh Baliram Patil, Chief Manager- Quality Management, Siemens Ltd, Verna. The session began with the introduction of the speaker by Anupriya Achari, a student from FY B.Com. Mr. Patil began the session with highlighting the basic concepts of business and process. As he says “Business starts with the customers who identify their needs and then business tries to fulfill those demands”. Further, he touched upon various processes such as Product Life Cycle Management, Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management and Management Processes. He also illustrated in detail the various aspects of support processes in the organization. At the end of the session, FY B.Com student Saurabh Siravi, delivered the vote of thanks. 92 students attended the session.
