The Placement Cell organized a session on ‘Answering MBA and Bank Entrance Exams’ on Wednesday, 09th December, 2020 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm via Google Meet. Student volunteer, Ms. Neebha Ghodge introduced the Resource Person, Mr. Malcolm Dias – Director at T.I.M.E. Institute. 80 students attended the session.
Mr. Dias commenced the session by giving students an insight into the highly coveted career options in Banking and Administration that they can choose after their graduation. He explained how the year 2021 would bring a big job rush in the Banking Sector, and suggested that 2020 being the year of the pandemic, is an ideal year to devote for the preparation of CAT/XAT and other MBA Exams.
Mr. Dias discussed in detail each of the sections involved in competitive exams and shared some tips and tricks of preparing for the same. He urged the students to cultivate the habit of reading so as to be swift enough in reading passages and lengthy questions and recommended that students keep themselves updated on current affairs.
He concluded by encouraging students to approach him for further help with reference to books and mock interviews. The session was extremely enriching for the students.
