The Department of Commerce and Management organised a Guest lecture in the subject of New Venture Planning for the students of SY B.Com on 9th December 2020. Mr. Ashwin Kunkolienkar, Lifestyle Group was the Resource Person for the session. Muktali Cuncoliencar, Assistant Professor in Commerce introduced the Resource Person.
Mr. Ashwin began the session by explaining his entrepreneurial journey. In his session, he explained the various factors to be considered for setting up a business.
He spoke about the business plan and its importance. He also threw light on marketing mix, importance of marketing, various sources of finance and how to generate a business idea. He highlighted the concepts of profitability and building customer loyalty and importance of customer satisfaction in business. During the interactive session, he gave some of the practical examples of the business ideas developed by few engineering students from Goa. Students also shared some of their business ideas with the Resource Person.
It was an interactive session and the Resource Person addressed the queries raised by the students. The session was conducted through Google Meet platform with 20 students attending the session. Daksha Kunkalienkar, Assistant Professor in Commerce proposed the Vote of Thanks.
