Guest Lecture on ‘Business Environment and International Trade/ Marketing Management’

The PG Department of Commerce organised a Guest Lecture on Business Environment and International Trade/ Marketing Management on 04th December 2020 from 10.30-12.00 via Google Meet. The main objective of the Guest Lecture was to provide the students insight and knowledge of Business Decisions in view of the complexity of the market.

The Resource Person Mr. Allwin Joseph, Senior Account Manager, Indeed.com, Bengaluru, started the interaction with ice-breaker activities. He highlighted the topic of Environment of Business, the dynamics that are involved and also mentioned the changes that the recent pandemic has created in his organization.

 

Mr. Joseph talked at length about the specific topics like COVID-19’s Impact – How countries responded, How Consumers are changing, New Consumer Behavior Groups, Initial Business Responses to COVID 19, How Businesses Make Further Changes. Mr. Joseph also gave examples of E-marketing solutions like Google Ads Auction, PPC Campaigns (Pay Per Click) adopted by companies in response to the changing scenarios and stressed that Digitization is the new way of doing and marketing business. 48 students participated in the session.
