The BBA (FS) Department of the College conducted a guest lecture for First Year students on the topic “Reading Beyond Syllabus” on November 24th from 9 to10 a.m. on the Google Meet platform. The Resource Person for the session was Ms. Delilah Pacheco, Assistant Professor in English at Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts & Science – Autonomous. The guest speaker encouraged students to read beyond syllabus to improve their worldview and vocabulary. She further sparked students’ curiosity by talking about comic books and superheroes. She ended the talk by reciting a poem and showing students some of her favorite books. The talk ended with an interactive question and answer session with the audience. It was a fun and enriching session, which students thoroughly enjoyed.
