asundhara (Green Club) in collaboration with the NSS Unit of VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics organised a Water Conservation Drive from 28th October to 5th November 2020 to instill awareness about the judicious use of water among students and to ensure that they play a role in creating awareness among the members of society. Students participating in the water conservation drive were asked to create a poster on the theme of “Water Conservation”. Students created posters highlighting the need for water conservation and practices to be adopted to conserve water. The posters were uploaded on Instagram and Facebook while tagging the College page on these social media platforms. The same poster was used by the participants to create awareness in their neighbourhood by visiting at least three to four houses and explaining the importance of conserving water. Participants were asked to click pictures during this process of information dissemination. Twenty two students participated in the Water Conservation Drive which was held over a one week period.
