The Department of Computer Science organized a 30-hour CCNA Networking Certificate Course from 23rd July to 24th Aug 2019. The sessions were held from 1-3 pm daily
Mr. Dwayne da Silva Afonso, Technical Trainer, Vedasys, was the Resource Person.
15 TYBCA students attended the course, which was designed to equip the students with the skill sets required to work in the field of networking.
The resource person covered the latest and updated networking syllabus as per the CCNA program. The course started with building a strong foundation in networking through networking fundamentals and covered Addressing, Routing, Switching, Network Address Translation and IPv6.
Mr. Dwayne also provided students with insights into how they could prepare themselves for various CCNA Certification level examinations to boost their career in the networking field. This course has opened up a new career option to the students in the field of computer networking.
The course was well received by the students, who gave positive feedback about the trainer and the conduct of the certificate course. The course was coordinated by Ms. Namita Neurenkar.
